The RX1270 convinces with a size of 30.9 inches and its 12 megapixel resolution. Several images of different procedures can thus be displayed simultaneously for optimal radiological findings.

 Eye relief with comfort light

The built-in comfort light gently illuminates the wall behind the monitor without interfering with the low ambient lighting typical of reading rooms. This reduces the contrast between the wall and monitor to prevent eye fatigue without creating glare on the screen.

Easily navigate your workspace

It is also equipped with a spotlight which allows you to see printed documents or your keyboard. The position can be easily adjusted in order to achieve the ideal lighting.

Streamline your workflow

Display various images on an ultra-high resolution 12 megapixel (4200 x 2800 pixels) single screen with the freedom of image layout. It provides streamlined visibility compared with multi-monitor environments, leading to greater efficiency.

Compact and feature-packed

The monitor realizes the ultra-high resolution of 12 megapixels on a 30.9-inch screen. The new design is more compact compared to two conventional 5 megapixel monitors used side by side. This all while including a built-in comfort light and internal power supply that do not impose on the workspace.

Work-and-Flow: Evolve Your Image Reading

As more image modalities become digitalized, radiologists are viewing an increasing amount of information on their screens. EIZO's unique Work-and-Flow technology alleviates the complexity of the imaging workflow with new functions developed with the radiologist in mind. Users can take advantage of Work-and-Flow features with the bundled RadiCS LE software.

Point-and-Focus: Simply select and focus

With the point-and-focus function, relevant image areas can be quickly and easily selected and focused using the mouse or keyboard. To optimize the display for interpretation, the brightness and grayscale tones of specific screen areas can be adjusted as needed.

Hide-and-Seek: Quick Information Referencing

The Hide-and-Seek function enables users to easily hide the PinP (Picture in Picture) window not currently in use and reopen it as needed by moving the mouse cursor to the edge of the screen. This allows for quick and efficient viewing of reports, patient charts, and other information.

Switch-and-Go: Barrier-Free Workstyle

With the Switch-and-Go function, USB switching is done within the monitor. This allows you to use a single keyboard and mouse across two PCs. Users can easily work on either PC by simply moving the mouse cursor across the screens. This enhances work efficiency and creates a cleaner workspace.

Hybrid Gamma PXL: Display both monochrome and color

The Hybrid Gamma PXL function automatically distinguishes between monochrome and color images pixel by pixel, creating a hybrid display where each pixel has optimum grayscale. This gives it greater accuracy and reliability than the conventional area-detection method.

Achieve clarity true to the source data

A medical monitor needs to be capable of high brightness in order to meet performance standards. However, in order to achieve high brightness in an LCD panel, the pixel aperture ratio has to be increased. This causes a typically unavoidable decline in sharpness. With EIZO's unique Sharpness Recovery technology, the decrease in sharpness (MTF) is restored . This allows you to display an image safely on the monitor that is true to the original source data, even at high brightness levels.

MTF measures numerically how faithfully the panel transfers detail from the original image data for viewing. When Sharpness Recovery is turned on, in the case of a 2 pixel line pair (spatial frequency of 1.609 cycles/mm) the MTF increases by approximately 56%.

Reduce reflections for image clarity

Anti-reflection (AR) coating greatly reduces reflections caused by outside light without affecting the light emitting from the monitor. This makes AR preferred over AG (anti-glare) treatments which cause blacks to appear washed out due to diffusion of the backlight. Monitors with AR coating display digital mammography, chest X-ray, and other high-resolution images with more clarity for accurate analysis.

Clear, high density images

With 0.1554 mm pixel pitch, high-density, high-definition image is achieved without appearing grainy.

One-cable connection

With DisplayPort 1.4, a 12 megapixel signal can be supported at 60 frames per second using a single cable between the monitor and the workstation.

 Stable display using AI

The color and brightness of an LCD monitor can shift due to changes in ambient temperature and the temperature of the monitor itself. Medical Imaging RadiForce monitors are equipped with a temperature sensor for accurately measuring the temperature inside the monitor, as well as estimating the temperature of the surrounding environment. With this technology, the monitor adjusts in real-time so gradations, color, brightness, and other characteristics continue to display accurately.

Furthermore, EIZO uses AI (artificial intelligence) in the estimation algorithm of the RX1270 so it can distinguish between changing temperature patterns to calculate an even more accurate correction.

Präzise Diagnosen

Make the precise diagnosis

EIZO carefully measures and sets each grayscale tone to create a monitor compliant with DICOM Part 14. This ensures the most consistent shading possible for the most accurate diagnosis.

Manage effortless quality control

An Integrated Front Sensor (IFS) housed within the front bezel measures brightness and grayscale tones and calibrates to the DICOM Part 14 standard. The hands-free IFS performs quality control tasks and does not interfere with the viewing area while in use. This dramatically cuts the workload and maintenance costs needed for maintaining monitor quality control.

Comfortably view from any angle

Wide viewing angles allow you to view the screen from the side with minimal color shift, also permitting more than one person to view the monitor comfortably at the same time.

Keep your monitor lit longer with LED backlight

By utilizing an energy-efficient LED as a backlight, the monitor achieves a high-brightness and low power consumption at the same time. Unlike conventional CCFL technology, LED backlighting offers a longer monitor lifespan, is free of hazardous materials, and is therefore compliant with current environmental regulations.

Consistent assurance of image quality

The optional RadiCS software (sold separately) for image quality assurance enables comprehensive maintenance and testing of monitors and covers all areas from calibration through acceptance and constancy testing to archiving. In compliance with AAPM, DIN, IEC and other international standards, RadiCS enables consistent image quality assurance with simple and easy-to-understand procedures.
