Hybrid Gamma PXL: Display both monochrome and color
The Hybrid Gamma PXL function automatically distinguishes between monochrome and color images pixel by pixel, creating a hybrid display where each pixel has optimum grayscale. This gives it greater accuracy and reliability than the conventional area-detection method.
Achieve clarity true to the source data
In order to achieve high brightness in an LCD panel, the pixel aperture ratio has to be increased. This causes a typically unavoidable decline in sharpness. With EIZO's unique Sharpness Recovery technology, the decrease in sharpness (MTF) is restored . This allows you to display an image safely on the monitor that is true to the original source data.
One billion color tones thanks to 13-bit LUT
Colour reproduction is controlled via a 13-bit look-up table (LUT). With the DisplayPort connection, up to 10 bits are available for display. This results in a resolution of up to 1 billion colour tones. The tone curves and fine structures required for reporting are thus precisely recognisable.
Attain steady images across the screen
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function helps to even out fluctuations in brightness and chroma on different parts of the screen to provide smoother images, a quality typically difficult to attain due to the characteristics of LCD monitors.
Manage effortless quality control
An Integrated Front Sensor (IFS) housed within the front bezel measures brightness and grayscale tones and calibrates to the DICOM Part 14 standard. The hands-free IFS performs quality control tasks and does not interfere with the viewing area while in use. With the point-and-focus function, relevant image areas can be quickly and easily selected and focused using the mouse or keyboard. To optimize the display for interpretation, the brightness and grayscale tones of specific screen areas can be adjusted as needed.
Rotate according to the image
The monitor can be operated in both portrait and landscape format. The displayed image rotates automatically depending on the orientation of the monitor thanks to the "Image Rotation Plus" function included in the included RadiCS LE software. (A graphics board that supports the Image Rotation Plus function is required.)

Using the DisplayPort connection, you can drive several monitors in a daisy chain sequence. This allows you to configure a multi-monitor setup without the complicated hassle of excessive cabling.

By utilizing an energy-efficient LED as a backlight, the monitor achieves a high-brightness and low power consumption at the same time.
